The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. One of the major influences for (at least one of the developers) Killing Machine Movement's off-the-wall approach to story and disregard for audience retention. Had completely forgotten about this one. But its effect so large and contemporary to Movement's conception that it had to be mentioned. The show itself, should not be forgotten for what it did.
