Textorio was always a very alone game. you, a dead planet, 50,000 colonists asleep below you, and a lot of silence. as of two days after launch it is not the whole story anymore. you can now uplink your colony to a shared server and climb a ranked ladder against every operator on it, machines, power, research, how deep you have dug, and the whole scoreboard is drawn in the same text characters as the rest of the game. here is the orbital network, and why i shipped the scary feature first.
