No soldier dies a number. Every mercenary in Mercenary Brotherhood carries a personality the game tracks for their whole career — and when they fall, it writes them a permadeath eulogy in their own voice, built from the battles they fought, the rivals they hunted, and the brothers they bled beside. A loyal one signs off "For the company. Always." A cynic: "They trusted nothing — in the end, they were right not to." Lose the same merc twice and you'll never read the same obituary.
