Atmospheric horror is harder to cultivate than cheap jump scares. Clea wants to show you it’s the way to instill a true sense of bone-chilling terror.

Can you escape the Whitlock Mansion, or will you lose yourself in its puzzles and secrets?

Players will be in charge of Clea, watching over her younger brother while they’re both trapped in the mansion. Being children, they don’t have much to defend themselves with against those that lurk the halls of the mansion. You’ll have to guide them to safety by listening for steps or peeking under doors.

You don’t want to be found by the creatures wandering the halls, after all. Although they’re Mum and Dad’s creations, they’re still out for your blood and your only salvation is through the front door. Better be sneaky if you hope to find your way out.

Unfortunately, even if you know the way out, your path isn’t a straight line. You’ll have to solve puzzles and collect items to earn your escape route. While you search for a solution, you may find memory orbs that reveal an even darker secret of the Whitlock Bloodline as well. Just don’t get too carried away in your search, or the grisly beings that skulk the halls will make short work of you, jump scares or not.

Clea is available now on Steam and Itch.io.
