The backstory for Genotype, a VR FPS, takes departure in the exploits of Sir Robert Falcon Scott, a British explorer-scientist during the “Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration.” Scott led an expedition to reach the geographical South Pole in 1910-1912. He and his team perished on the return, freezing to death just a few miles from safety as a weeks-long blizzard raged outside their tent.
